billy mayes died at 50 from not wearing a seatbelt and the plane had a rough landing. therefore hitting his head. my girlfriend hates him so shes happy.

 

he actually was found dead in his bed.

and that kinda sucks, i actually like the guy.

edit: looks like actually the day before he died, the plane incident happened, but no one knows if it's related or not yet.

When I die, I don't want people to be sad for me... But I also don't want people laughing about the fact that I'm dead... Some people have no respect now-a-days, and it pisses me off.

idk. its hard for me to be upset i never knew the guy. none of his products worked. he was always yelling at us. it isnt a hilarious thing. but it wasnt necesarily devastating. so i can have a cold laugh at it

 

Just because you see death as this very serious matter doesn't mean we all do. And Billy Mays was an annoying corporate shill. His life's work was a fucking joke, so if I want to laugh, I will.

 

I think people deserve respect in general, especially when they die, and it doesn't matter whether you agree with what they do or not, that doesn't make them any less human or less worthy of respect as a person. And from what I saw of him outside of infomercials, he was a pretty cool guy. I saw a video of him once going through the drive thru at a McDonalds and just having a good time with it, having fun with the employees and pretending it was an infomercial.

 

Billy is actually a really amazing person.
I adore the man personally. He wasn't a dick to people, he joked around with his fans, he was NICE. He pitched products like that because it caught people's attention and made them attracted to what he was selling.
And actually, they did work. He believed in selling products that actually did what they were said to do. He turned MILLIONS of idea's down because they weren't good enough to sell to his customers. He was a good person.
And the fact that you laugh at his death is really pathetic and sad.
The fact you'd laugh at anyone dying is really sad.


As for the fact of Michael Jackson, the only thing he was guilty of was wanting to be a child forever. Maybe because of their innocence and their obscurity of being oblivious to fear and the awful things in the world.
Oh and by the way, Jordan Chandler, the guy who accused him of molestation? Lied. He just came out with it.
