Thank God you only did it for a day. I did it much longer and had to start over. Boiling wax out of your hair is NO FUN!

Keep us posted on the progress.

How the hell do you get rounded tips like that? I'm mad fucking jealous. They're a bit too fat for my liking, but they're still gorgeous.

Wow, it looks like you had a big ordeal with ur dreads. They look great now tho. I just hate how if you go on all the big dreading websites wax is said to be awesome and essential for the dreading process. I saw a pic once of some guy whos dread fell out because of the wax. He cut it open and the build up was disgusting. Its just a money making ploy really. :(

To get the rounded tips, basically i just grab the end of the dread with thumb and finger and rub the end clockwise on the palm of the hand. Ive done that since the start so after a while they just stay rounded. :D

And ive just started washing my hair with Dr Bronners Pepperminty liquid soap. I used the Dreadhead HQ but it doesnt have a scent at all which i guess is kinda good for the whole residue free-ness. Bad thing is tho that for about a month after startin my dreads i used what i was told was a residue free shampoo which actually wasnt so im guessin that didnt help things at all. Gonna deep cleanse soon anyways to get them squeaky clean hopefully.
