is it still possible to get lucky strikes? i didn't think that they still made them but my friend had a pack today. anybody know how he possibly could have gotten them?
a cigarette brand. i thought they didn't make them anymore but apparently they do. does anyone know how much a pack would run for? i think someone said they were pretty expensive, but what should i expect?
prices of all brands vary depending on the state in which you reside and sometimes depending also on which store you go to in order to buy smokes. here you'll pay 6 or 7 bucks for a pack of em, and 5-6 bucks for a pack of camels, if i'm not mistaken. it's been a while since i bought cigarettes. aristartle: lucky strike is a brand of american cigarettes which reached it's peak of popularity in the 1940s and 1950s. most often they are sold unfiltered in soft packs, as per tradition. they also produce filtered cigarettes, but the construction is inferior to other filtered cigarettes. they are known for toasting the tobacco prior to rolling, giving it an allegedly distinctive flavor. lucky strikes were my first cigarette, and an occasional go-to smoke depending on time frame. they're good, but there are several ryo brands i prefer to lucky strike if i'm going to have an unfiltered cigarette, most notably peter stokkebye. i dont really smoke cigarettes anymore, though, so it's a moot point. but as far as unfiltered smokes go, lucky strike is a classic, and a has a pretty decent flavor they are good for tailor-made cigarettes, but a lot of the price issue is due to high demand among scenesters because they are "retro" and therefore "cooler" than other cigarettes. the high price has more to do with low demand in the general public coupled with high desirability among those who demand them. very few people smoke them as their regular cigarette, it is usually purchased as an image thing, an accessory.
