Great movie, there's something that's been bugging me though, I swear, that's christian bale laying on his back with the dog in the park. can someone confirm/deny that?

 

I love that movie so, so much.

jamaican_youth, that does kind of look like Christian Bale, but I don't think it is. Trainspotting was made in 1996, according to IMDB, at which time Christian Bale looked younger than the guy with the dog looks. Also, their ears are different. (I'm not so creepy as to know about his ears off the top of my head--I Googled it.) That's just a guess, though. Ohh, and those don't look like his hands when he's petting the dog. Also, when he's yelling, it doesn't sound like his voice.

Wowww, I seem to know creepily much about Christian Bale.

I liked the movie very much. Is it worth it reading the book after watching the movie? Suggestions.

I love that quote too, (I paraphrase): "One day there won't be men or women, only wankers." I indentify with that quote very much.

 

very much so... the book is one of the finest social commentaries of the 80/90's ... for some of us in the UK at the time anyway

a lot darker, a lot funnier and a helluva lot more true to life than the movie (and i thought the movie did a pretty good job) .... and if nothing else, you'll find out why it's called Trainspotting

 

This book has been recommended to me from a lot of trusted parties. I think I might read it. Thanks!
