That's funny. I saw a program on C-span this morning where a guy from the American Enterprise Institute said that one of the things that motivates social conservatives is the feeling that they are the minority,so they have an "us against them" mentality.

 

58 million americans are idiots, get over it.

 

LOL....just had to say that this one cracked me up. Stupid people in large numbers for sure.

With all the serious issues that face this nation we have seen that the only thing that means a shit to any of these "stupid" people is gay marriage and abortion. God forbid they should every wake up one day and realize that the nation's future does not hinge on these insignifigant issues.

Morality encompasses so much more. Forbidding gay marriage, and stopping abortion will not feed the hungry, nor house the homeless. It will not stop the world wide hatred that is held toward our country. It will not stop war nor bring about peace. It will not bring an end to all those millions who go to bed each night lacking the very necessities of life such as food, clothing and shelter. It will not stop corporations from running our lives and our elections. It will not bring an end to corruption in our politics. It will not stop the raping of our land and our environment for profit.

Stupid people...be proud. You may ban gay marriage and make abortion illegal, but then what? Do you think the gays will stop being gay? Do you think that those who want abortions will refrain from getting them? Sorry...don't think so...but you go ahead and be proud as you watch your freedoms, your environment, your politics and your way of life begin to crumble away around you.

 

My feeling is that this election was not about issues, it was about voting for your team. It's also my feeling that Democrats and liberals can take a large amount of the blame for the Bush turnout. There was a significant backlash against the attitude of the left as it got louder and shriller. For each liberal who vented against Bush and the stupid people who support him, they most likely brought a conservative to the polls just to spite them and their obnoxiousness.

there are too many rednecks so that takes Nader out..... hmm not really any other choice. anyways you can sense the revolts and destruction coming, and it would of came even if Kerry would have won.

I think people were starting to feel their freedom slipping away one we couldnt find those "weapons of mass destruction" damn we should of stopped there, but no being the good Americans that we are we decided to "liberate" the people.

Well that didnt work so lets go see if we can find some weapons in Iran, if we cant.... well then we can always liberate those people right?
