I did that last night quite quite literally. I stepped on a board with a screw pointing up and it damn near went through my foot. It fucking hurts like a bitch. No, the screw wasn't rusty, it was pretty new actually, yes, I scrubbed the hell out of my foot, and it's not that bad, it just hurts like a bitch. I can't imagine what the inside of my foot looks like after that, though, yeesh. And I have to go to work and stand on it for 5 hours (whew, only 5). Boo I say! Boo! Hopefully the Excedrin will do its job well.
It doesn't have to be rusty to give you tetanus. Rust doesn't actually carry tetanus, that's a misconception... it's simply associated with rust since a lot of things that carry tetanus tend to be rusty.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I got a tetanus shot in jr. high...so it's close to being out, but not quite, lol.

Ouch dude.. That probably hurt sooo bad. I got a tack stuck in my foot before, but that's not half as bad as a screw
I can say, it probably hurt way worse after I did it than it did while it was happening. My nerves went insane in that whole leg for an hour and I was twitching all over the place.
