about 2 months ago, i recieved my first order of 2c-e, 2c-i, and 2c-t-2. prior to tis, i had used LSD and mushrooms 2 times each, with enjoyable results. i started using the 2c-e/i at doses of 15mg, with enjoyable, but minimal, results. I slowly increased my dosage over the peroid of a few trips, and my last trip involved 12mg of 2c-e and 12mg of 2c-i (24mg total). at this dose, visuals were fantastic. however, the mindfuck was quite minimal, and i didnt go above a +++ experience. In fact, of all my trips on 2c-e, 2c-i, lsd, 2c-t-2, and shrooms, ive only ever experienced a ++++ (if it can be called that) on mushrooms, which resulted in my going into a 3-hr period of horrible fear/depression. when i took the 24mg dose, i also gave a friend a 20mg (10mg 2ce, 10mg 2ci) dose at the same time. despite the lower dose, his experience was MUCH more intense, with a solid +++ for the entire duration. It was my first use of 2c-x in the past 3 weeks, and it was taken on an empty stomach with a little vodka and pepsi (vodka tincture, pepsi chaser). Is it possible to have a natural tolerance like this?
When I still had 2c-e, I'd bump small lines, around 2mg or so just to wake me up in the morning. Not the intended purpose of the substance obviously, but it worked like a charm. I stopped for about a week, then decided to snort around 2-3mg upon waking up and tripped sack for around an hour. Being in school, this was not a good thing, but luckily I managed to keep myself together for the duration. I don't recommend dosing any amount in school. To answer your question, yes I do believe tolerance is formed with 2c-x's, at least from what I've experienced.
Exactly! Especially with psychedelics, dosages can vary greatly from person to person to yield similar results. Even with synthetic chems, the set and setting can make the same dosage seem stronger or weaker. When was the last time that you used either before this one? Some tolerance can develop but I don't think it's as drastic with the 2c-x's as with some chems.
or maybe you and your buddy experience close to the same thing, and just describe it differently maybe your ++ is the same as his +++
i dont think so. we were watching BLUEBERRY (awesome film), and he touched my head at one point and started laughing, then later on started talking about how the whole image was "made of zippers". this seemed a lot more intense then my experience, even at my larger dose.
I don't know if it's the same for you, but with me and psychedelics vodka would never mix. Alcohol slows the mind which would minmize "mind fuck" on psychedelics. It could just be tolerance though. Some tryptamines are said to have reverse tolerance. I actually think I remember someone telling me they had to use 2-ce 5 or 6 times until reaching peak effects. I know they're expensive man, just be patient and try to lay off the drugs. You may be experiencing some cross tolerance.
the amount of vodka was roughly a 2/3oz each. it was simply used to dilute the doses at 1mg/mL. recently i gave my friend some of my "sketchy" 5-MeO-DMT (it arrived in hcl salt form, melted at room temp, and had no effect on me, so i used a freebase tek to convert it to a freebase for smoking. again, the freebase had no effect on me other then a strange "tingle", even at doses of 20mg), and he claimed it had a minimal effect at the 3mg "test" dose i gave him. if this is true, it could indicate some tolerance to 5-MeO-DMT (strassman mentioned that 1/20 people dont feel the effects of DMT). is this possible?
yeah i always had a low tolerance to acid--1 hit and id be tripping my braines with hallucinations--telepathy and all sorts of magic shit- when every one else was taking 3-4 hits and hardly tripping---so for me i have a natural tolerence--to shrooms too 2-3 grams would put me in another world--while every one else was laughing
I think I have a bit of a natural tolerance, myself, because I barely tripped at all when I took 15mg of 2ce. Since then, I always take at least 40mg, but 50mg is my ideal dose. I still trip INSANELY hard with 50mg of 2ce, but I also think I have a natural tolerance to it. The main thing that makes me think this is the fact that my cousin had 25mg of 2ce and experienced the most intense experience of his life, while I was on 50mg of 2ce and having to tripsit him. lol Also, he took 15mg of 2ci one night and I took 40mg of 2ce with 15mg of 2ci, but he seemed to still be tripping harder than I was. It's strange.
Psychedelic drugs are very adverse. Especially tryptamines. They have an extremely weird history of human use. DMT the strangest and most complex of all.
