what do you think, can meditation be used as a way to help me control my eating and treat my body better? Its been kind of hard to get into shape. I've been jogging 2-4 times a week and I'm losing weight because of that but I continue to eat loads of junk food and I usually don't feel too good about it afterwards...I don't get down on myself but I do realize that I probably shouldn'tve eaten this or that... I've started chanting and meditating again but its not yet a regular thing and I think it needs to be... do you think this is a good way to look at it?

    thanks

Sure its a good thing, how can your body be healthy if your mind is not? The mind and body are connected and can affect each other.

Sorry to butt in here, but I need to know a few things about meditation. I have had sensations of peace while on the computer, and concentrating on the music I had playing. I really wasn't doing anything but listening, and I felt peace. Was this meditation?
