    My cat loooooves milk.....of course.
But Im wondering how much is too much to be giving him. I usually give him just a saucerful and lately it has been once a day. (he cries at the refridgerator untill I give in:&) It doesnt seem to upset his stomach, but I dont want to take any chances or do anything that would be unhealthy for him. So what do you think, how much is too much?

we always gave our cats a little bit... but i have heard at times that it isn't that good for them. (our cat prefered pizza anyways, or mac and cheese at times)

You can give your cat as much milk as it can handle really....it doesn't hurt them, it just gives some cats diarea (no clue how to spell it but you get the point ;) ) You can also buy milk that is made for cats, it has nutrients and stuff in it.

the cat food companies try their best to convince people that "normal" milk is bad for their pets so they'll buy the "special" milk mentioned above. But when i had to start giving one of my old cats a pill twice daily, the vet actually adviced me to give him milk afterwards! It helped him put on weight, plus it meant i never forgot his medication- my cat meowed until i gave it to him, plus he started opening his mouth in preperation for the pill! (sorry, i know thats a bit off the point!)

Milk and cats. Some cats can tolerate it. Many can't. If yours can it won't hurt him/her. I wouldn't use it as a staple. They are supposed to get weaned off the stuff eventually! But that's up to you.
