Needed a title that would get people to actually read the question hah. Anyway, I've read about Exaltation and Fall and such. From my understanding, Fall means it's effects are weakened, right? And Exaltation means the opposite obviously. Ok, so if you were born on the Capricorn//Aquarius or Aquarius//Pisces cusp, since Aquarius in Sun is a Fall, does that give Capricorn or Pisces a greater influence on you?

I would look to the decanates and dwads to determine the strength of the sun sign ig you really wanted to get nit picky. Just because a planet is exalted or fallen does not take away the power of planet rulership. Rulership holds more weight than exaltation.
    Hope this helps.

Well dyads aside ... the ancients considered certain planets to be exalted in signs that either enhance their qualities or balance them.

    Sun in Aries
    Moon in Taurus
    Mercury in Aquarius
    Venus in Pisces
    Mars in Capricorn
    Jupiter in Cancer
    Saturn in Libra

The planets falling in the opposite signs are in Fall and are less happy, though not necessarily weaker. There is a deep distinction here.
In fact Mars in Cancer is often a strong and constant complainer but far from weak and Jupiter in Capricorn often ends up wealthy and successful while the exalted position is often emotionally content only. There are deep reasons for each of these.
