so, i was just in target, and saw this awesome little blondie with natural locks. they looked pretty mature maybe almost a year into neglect. and the kid was only like 7 years old. i just think dreadie kids are awesome, b/c i assume the main reason they have locks is because they hate brushing. for them it's not even a journey. it's just them. i also know another 5 year old with the most awesome triple-lock congo ever. know any dreadie kids?
yeah I met a little blonde girl that had some dreads going.. they looked sooooo soft! I talked to her dad about her, and he says that she refuses to comb her hair and throws a fit, so he just gave up and let it go. they looked maybe 5 or 6 months in
nope never seen a dready kid ever!! but i would love my daughter to have dreads as her hair is down to her bum,she did want dreads at 1st but then her friends said erghhhhhh no way so she changed her mind although it wont be long till she gets them anyway as she hardly ever brushes her hair!
My kiddo had locks for a couple of years; she cut them off in a pre-teen rebellion. I miss her wild child locks... There's a boy in my town, about 12 years old, with looooong natural dreads-his mama said he stopped brushing his hair when he was about 6 years old.
this kid is a pro skater and his locks are pretty epic http://esfootwear.com/content/riders/photos/nyjah-huston-380-big.jpg
Theres a kid in my uni town who has hench dreads, looked about 13 and I've seen him a couple of times, dreads look like 2 or 3 years xD I also saw a group of dready kids in the shopping centre. So awesome ^^
I've never seen a dready kid. Sounds like you saw a cutie!! Wish my boys would dread their hair. I'm still putting off a hair cut and it's been since December...
i know several dready kiddies.. my daughter had them when she was 8 or so for quite awhile until some dumbass called child welfare on me and i was so sick of fighting withum we just cut her hair
yeah I really like it too and sorry DLftw, I think we're talking about actual kids... like kids under ten. puberty kinda destroys the adorable factor.
