if you can dunk a basketball you are no longer a kid and if you are 6 2 and black and cant dunk a basketball then you are fucked

 

What about if I'm half black and can dunk a basketball most of the time but can't make jump shots?

Ice skating has always terrified me, and half of my family is from the Caribbean, you have to swim there or you get captured by pirates! Pirates of the Caribbean! Except no Jack Sparrow!

there were 2 dreadies in my dauhgters preschool class last year. A girl and a boy. The girl was a dready cuz her family are all wild mountain dready people....no religous ties...just people who lack combs and brushing skills. The other kiddo came from a devout Rasta family and they all had dreads for more personal and spirtitual reasons. Regardless...they were both so cute, wild and free children. I looved it! My daughter wanted dreads for about 3 weeks. We let it go naturally and then she was over it.

 

Or it is because their parents are trash and don't feel like brushing their own kids' hair.

 

or because their parents aren't trash and have better things to do than fight with their kids about brushing their hair. it's a higher level of evolution, i don't think you would understand.

 

mandy - Can you describe the mountain people to me? Sounds silly that I may be asking... but want to know what their life is like. Do they truly just not own or afford brushes?

 

Mountain people are certain people who live in the mountains, the originators of the word 'hillbilly', they don't value education, except how to make stills. They are usually poor, most are illiterate, and alot of them live in very rustic shacks with no electricity or running water. They make great music, excellent booze and they hate anyone who isn't local.

 

There's a version of them around here...just replace the stills with outdoor grow-ops and you have BC hillbillies.

 

hmmm... And they just don't care to bother getting electricity? Is it a value or a result of no money?
