Hey guys. So I've been smoking pretty steady for the past two months and a bit, at least once a day, most likely more than once. My main problem here is I seem to be addicted to the process of getting high, not the weed itself. I don't need to be high, I just need to smoke, but out of bongs and pipes and shit, not joints or blunts. So I figure I'm going to start smoking less often. Cut it to once at night when I'm by myself at home and then cut it down to once every 2 days, etc.

Any other advice I can get from you guys to get my mind off of always smoking a bowl, cause that's been bugging me almost every day...

i dunno. if you're really serious about cutting back, you could try avoiding people that'd smoke in front of you.

That last idea about the shot is a bad and good choice. It's good cause I know it'll work, but fuck I could see myself getting drunk a lot haha. Well I just got an ounce so Friday I'm gonna get super baked by myself, and in the morning too, and hopefully I can slow down after that. Cut it down to a couple times a week. Thanks for the advice guys! Peace

I don't think weed necessarily has to be avoided to improve your weed/rest of life relationship, it's way more important to just use discretion when you smoke and to not just be a lazy fucker when your high.

we used to hit an invisible bong at school, it pissed off all the teachers, but we couldn't get in trouble XD plus the oxygen deprivation does get you a part of the high.

if you enjoy the feel of a leisurely toke, i recommend a vaporizer. you have to get used to it, and know when to stop before you are completely incoherent, and you have to watch out for the (blindingly searingly) hot bowl end but the flavors, ah! and it has a different mouth feel.
i have a vaporbrothers hands free vaporizer and its angled and frosted so that you can actually stick the bowl on. the first vape i really tried and liked was unregulated temp, and you had to hold the bowl and adjust the distance from the, well alright i call it a nipple. what a pain.
but really, its so much easier to give you a link ;)

im gonna look at their fancy whips now lol

Mang, I know a guy that smokes blunts like they're cigs. . .

If you can handle the world while your high I say don't cut back.
Assuming you have the cash for it.
