I have a paralyzing fear of snakes so I'm not gonna bother reading the thread since it probably has pictures but you should kill more snakes. As many as you can.
Most species of turtle are herbivores. But they can still bite the shit out of you and your dog. And most are protected if their shell length is less than 4 inches.
Yeah, it was a big turtle.. I would say about 8 or 9 inches long. It didnt attack me.. it kept its head inside till i picked it up and it just kinda looked on. it looked at me and looked down at the ground. I put it in the grassy shore of the pond and when I came back from chasing the neighbors dog away, it had gone in the water.
when ever i see a snake (usually a grasssnake) i just let it be and carry on with my day...but if i see a spider i tend to want to pick it up..even the small ones..i dunno why i jsut like holding spiders...
i've never intentionally killed a snake. but i don't know how many times i've been mowing the lawn only to have one (or at least part of it) suddenly shoot out the side of the mower... on a similar subject, is there a worse smell than mowing over a rotting animal carcass (like a groundhog or a large rat)?
aww poor thing.. I wouldn't kill a snake I'd remove it if I were in danger - maybe throw it outside somewhere.. I feel bad for them everyone finds them disgusting and scary.. I like snakes - even though I was bitten by a viper one time - it wasn't that bad.. One time I had to witness the most horrifying thing: I was in this farm in the south of Spain lost in the middle of the desert, and this guy found a snake in his barn going for the chicken eggs.. and he killed it - tortured it - he hung it on this hook and cut a little piece of skin on its neck and ripped it off, the snake was still alive and moving after he skinned it.. and then he cut it into little pieces and put it in the freezer to cook later. The guy (he was a friend of my uncle who has a farm nearby) - did that in front of several children including me. I was 12.

you are an ignorant hick. You were much more likely to get bit fucking with it than leaving it be. Kingsnakes are harmless and shy. If it was hissing, it was afraid of you. Don't kill snakes.

Okay, if I take out "hick," I think my conclusion is still pretty accurate. Hicks like to kill things for no reason, also, so maybe you're just a distant cousin.
