How low has respect for women actually got to? I walk through the halls of my high school today and one thug that's "oh so cool" is bragging about what he plans to do with, and I quote, his "busted bitch." Why can't girls press for respect and others realize that it's not the 50's anymore?! Dammit!
well, I don't think "busted bitch" is a very good term, but I still like chick and babe. Mostly because I call a lot of my galpals chick, chicklet, honey, darling, sweetie, etc. It can be done in a cute way, not necessarily just a jerky way.
I say chick all the time... it's not that bad- kind of lighthearted. I don't know. Babes sounds so tacky and 80's... I never really say it.
Ugh what a dummass that guy......only dumb guys who think they are all cool refer to girls like that. Well, i think. Chick and babe are alright....it all depends on how they say it. but stil...i wish there was more respectful guys out there...geez louise...
I think "chick" and "babe" are fine really. I mean, they don't bother me. I don't exactly go for the "babe" thing because it sounds kind of cheesy, but hey, it doesn't offend me or anything. Now "bitch" is another story.
Haha, same here. Seriously, relax. I refer to girls as chicks, and I see no problem with that. It's just a word. I mean, the term "busted bitch"...yeah that's not pleasant, but that's his problem and his gf's problem. If she has such low respect for herself that she's alright with that...then oh well.
We should push for REAL respect, for both genders. If some 70 year old calls me dearie I grin and bear it. I wouldn't take it from someone close to my age, unless it was a good friend and a joking delivery.
hahahaha that's exactly what i was thinking. The only time i ever still here chicks and babes, is on early re-runs of Saved By The Bell.....that's when Jessie always ruins it with her super ultra feminist powers.
