Just looking for some traveling advice, thinking about heading for Spain or Ibiza

I'm thinking about heading south in the spring, maybe from February onwards. I'm sick of the weather in this country and I desperately need some sun, and to sit round a camp fire on the beach or in the mountains, smoke a peace pipe and that.

I was thinking about Ibiza, or maybe Andalucia in Spain or somewhere.

Anyone got any ideas.

I'd like to be able to work when I get there, and make enough to break even.

Where should I go, anyone got any advice?

When do things start picking up, how early in the year would it be viable to go? How easy is it to score decent hashish in these places, and what is the score with the local fuzz?

 

Hey the McLeod, What a pity that I am the first to respond and it's been like 7 months. Anyways, I can't help with the whole work thing, cause I am on the wrong side of the pond, but I do have a suggestion about hashish.

I studied in Madrid and you can score hashish in Parque Retiro. Now, this was years ago that I was there, but if you go to the big lake in Parque Retiro, hang out on the Northern End (The side closest to Calle Alcala for the directionally challenged.) and some dude may come up to you offering chocolate. That is spanish slang for hashing. I paid about 10 euros for a little ball that I actually never used up completely.

Don't know if the police cracked down on this in the years since I was there. Just thought maybe I could help.

Like I said in the personal messages, I got the impression that you feel badly about Americans in some of your posts. Maybe hate is a strong word. I actually don't give a crap if I've been reported. Let's see what they do. You said you don't care what I think. Well, you seem to care very strongly.

Anyways, if you did go to Spain I hope you had fun, and don't stress so much about stuff that REALLY DOESN"T MATTER!!
