on an i.q. test? nah.... actually 80 to 90 is average i.q. im surprized MS even came in there... i was thinking that state's average would be closer to 65.
I really don't trust that list, I really don't believe there is almost a 30 point difference between the IQ of my state and Mississippi, yes we have better schools, but schools alone are not gonna make 30 points average like that.
Schools have nothing to do with I.Q.- that is inborn. CT is a very wealthy state...meaning people that are naturally more intelligent prolly flock there for a few different reasons... however, people that are less intelligent in a state like MS, have less resources to get out of that state.... now before anyone from the south flips out or anything, im not calling everyone from MS less intelligent or ignorant or anything.... an average is just that. an average.
adjusted for the fact that the IQ’s of these test takers are about 10 points above average 104 IQ New Hampshire 103 IQ Oregon, Massachusetts, Wisconsin 102 IQ Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Vermont, Washington 101 IQ Alaska, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New York, Ohio, Utah, Wyoming 100 IQ Arizona, California, Idaho, Maine, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, West Virginia 99 IQ Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana 98 IQ Florida, Arkansas 97 IQ Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas 96 IQ New Mexico 95 IQ District of Columbia 94 IQ Mississippi, South Carolina
I.Q. measures an individual's ability to adapt to a changing environment. it is not the only measure of awareness though. there is much more to awareness than I.Q. some people adapt an environment to their ability. in any event, no person with any real awareness could vote for bush for even the most selfish reasons. it is that wrong!
