..BBAD...and I am addicted to Ebay ..anyone else?...tell your story I washed my cell phone and needed a replacement...so I bought one...then another....then another....then another...4 of them on the way..I sure hope they work..I'll keep one, sell the second to pay for the first two and then hopefully the last two are pure profit
Ebay can be fun. I enjoy being able to get stuff that I cannot find locally. But from a selling standpoint it is not a long term solution for marketing products. It is a selling tool but only short term. The management is making some very foolish decisions. In fact they have been making foolish choices for a year and a half. Hopefully someone will come in and fire all the management and replace them with competent people. If not ebay will not be around in 3 years.
I browse on Ebay more than I buy. My husband browses and buys quite often. Our oldest son, who's 9, tendd to do a lot of browsing and buying as well. Yes, my 9 year old gets on there and scouts out deals for rare Pokemon cards (he's a big collector), asks our permission to bid and determines how high he wants to go according to how much money he has and how rare the card is, then he puts his bid in, and if he wins, he pays us back (since we use PayPal) with money from his allowance. I kind of have a pissy attitude about Ebay because I've never really won a bid and it makes me mad. I've even done the whole wait to the minute and I still get outbid. So it's more frustrating for me than anything else. I prefer the Buy it Now option.
yeah i browse all the time... but i just annoy myself... because i see all these things i want that i cant have
Haha I just bought some DVDs the other day. Yesterday actually. About an hour ago I almost bought a music stand so I can play all the songs that I don't know the words to at my upcoming shows. I'm going to see what deals I can find arond town tomorrow. No doubt I'll be back on Ebay tomorrow night.
Mastercard is great if you use it wisely Compete?..Its pretty easy to stick to stuff you need...I run a mobile business and definitely needed my cellphone I love it when I find something I've been looking for for years Bidding at the last 20 seconds has been the only way for me to get good deals....unless its something really rare that I'm sure there's no demand for
i used to use ebay a lot but i havent used it much in a while...ive been broke so now i just use it when i need something that i think i can get cheap on ebay lol
I use it to buy vintage old double edge razors, you know, the kind real men use so far I have two stainless steel Gillette ones that unscrew at the bottom and have a butterfly opening top. One is from 1952, the other is from 1961. I also have a heavy brass Gillette one from 1930. I've boiled, sanitized them all and they all work great. I definately plan on buying more. I have terribly sensative skin and couldn't use any razor other than a Mach 3. But the blades were SO fucking expensive. My mom suggested finding one of these. The blades work out to about 5 cents a blade and they last for like almost a month. The other blades were $2.00 a blade. Thats bogus!
thats cool : the vintage blades and stuff... i bought some dvds and just lil stupid stuff...... oh i did get a dress that was really nice yeah blades here are 15euro for 5 i think
No I don't.I once tried to sell something on ebay however, and found the whole process to complicated. Not worth the hassle.--
This weekend I'm going to buy a poncho or two. I wanna find some cool knit ones. Like the one Clint Eastwood wears in "A Fist Full of Dollars". In the market downtown where I live they have some really nice ones too. A guy and his family hand make them in South America and He comes here in the summer to sell them. On second thought, maybe I'll give him my money instead of EBAY.
I have never bought or sold anything on Ebay..I have thought about it, but never have..seems I do most of everything on Craigslist these days.
