i really hope so! i felt like shit last night when sara told me she didn't want to go anymore, still do. i really don't want to go to a 4 day fest by myself cause i doubt i can get any of my friends to go

im trying my best to see if i can get money to go...my mom said she'd lend me the money for a ticket if i wanted but then im not going to have money to get trolley tokens to get to school and money for food and a new school id...ill see what i can do though and let you know soon

 

i thought i wouldnt want to go to festies alone but they fucking rock solo.
you meet way more people than you probably will in a group and you get to do whatever you want and not have to worry about what the group wants.

 

yeah that's what i figured i could do, just meet new people there. i've hung out with strangers at the phish concert cause part of it i was by myself so i definitely would be down for that.

 

soooo true. i went to bonnaroo with 1 friend but we got seperated literally every time we went into centeroo lol. i still had so much fun and met some crazy cool people.

im considering goin to vibes, and if i do i might go solo even though i have a few friends that are down to go. reason being they are not chill people and arent really into the music. just goin to get fucked.

so if you have to go alone dont sweat it. youll have a blast trust me.

I went kind of solo last year and it was great. I did meet up with some friends who didn't stay all weekend, which was fun. It was really the perfect balance between having time on my own and being with friends. (I'm not really that good at meeting strangers either, but it was fine.)

This year I'm going early Thursday (mostly to get a good camping spot), and friends and family are coming and going starting Saturday or maybe Friday. For some reason a bunch of people I know are just going Sunday.

Anyway....I'm sure you guys will have fun solo and meet people if I did, and it's fun being able to decide to do whatever you want without a consensus anyway.

 

for all of you guys that are going...you NEED to be at the ASSEMBLY OF DUST show. always an fun crowd filled with energy and is just an incredible atmosphere. be there. dont miss it, youll love it...

 

definitely, i've got a taper friend that tapes for the brew who tours with assembly of dust. i haven't listened to them but i'm def gunna check them out. might be going to a brew/assembly of dust show in sept.
