I've been out of the scene for about 6 years after I came off the road with a band I played with around the country. Needed to chill, settled down, stopped everything, didn't even have a beer for 6 years. About 3 or 4 months ago I ran into an old buddy, we did a lot of coke together, great times! I was dying to do a little, he hooked me up through one of his connections--it was fun, good. Eventually he set me up with his guy directly and went into AA himself. I've hooked with the guy a few times since then, but every time it's a total pain in the ass. He doesn't return calls for a week at a time, he doesn't show some times after me driving 45 minutes--I can't stand dealing with him. My problem is that I'm not in the scene at all (married, kids, 40 years old). I would love to find a better connection, but I have no idea of who to go to, none of my old contacts are even around, I don't frequent bars, I don't have a circle of friends who get involved. The one thing I got going for me is that I work in New York City and I live about an hour and half above the city. DOes anyone know of a good next step for someone in my situation who wants to use recreationally from time to time and needs a reliable connection when I do decide to use?
And maybe get shot, held up, car jacked - at least that's the type of streets I use to look for it on years ago ;-) I'd be more comfortable with the typical "call the connection and meet" type of thing.
I don't know personally. I think you should maybe rethink though. Does your wife use coke? Not many of my group on this forum thinks coke is even worth it. In fact, thats prob the one drug I can't get cuz its so lame for most. I guess if you become part of the community you might find out though... My recommendations are to hang out here for a few months while looking else wear. Play the games on here and meet people. Talk about stuff you are interested in, etc. etc.. This kind of thing takes time. I know time isn't your friend because you want it NOW (like most of us) but thats what it takes.
yeah of course that would be best, but if you want it that bad it is an option. Coke isn't my thing though so I don't know. I have never seen anyone really happy on that sutff, even when they all of it they could possibly want. and if you knew how it got to this country, you would think twice about doing it. it's a good time to you, but someone most likely died along the way even to get you a few grams. Coke dealers just don't give a fuck, not about you or anything else.
Coke dealers do tend to be rather shady, and are generally found where you dont want or need to be. Unless you run into a friend, or a friend who has a good hook up, dont bother. Just ask around in your trusted circle of "associates" and see what you can find ouy
Yeah of course we would "prefer somebody he could call and meet with", lmao. BACONNN!!! But if he's being legit, he should probably re-word that a little differently. Honestly the only way he can go abouts finding it is through a friend or taking a risk by meeting people and raising the question.
IMHO, the only reliable coke dealers (small time) are Hispanic. But really dude, you live close to NYC, you can handle this on your own.
