Alright so a few days ago I noticed the back of my right shoulder was somewhat sore to the touch. Yesterday there was a small area on the underside of my arm where it connects to my body (armpit it guess) that was VERY sore when touched or poked. Today I was checking the area and in that same area noticed a lump that is somewhere between the size of a cherry and a walnut. When touched or poked it is INSANELY FUCKING SORE. Like stabbing fire sore, I can't even force myself to leave my fingers there just to see how much I can push it (which I tend to do as a test when I'm injured). I haven't hit it. I know there is glands there, and I've had some irritability in my neck glands before. Does anyone have an ideas on this, or personal experience with something similar? (Besides...you should go to the doctor) I know that. Thanks, Peace

If it was on the front of your shoulder, I'd suggest going to the docs aSAP cus it might be a bad lump. But since its on the back..bit, and you said you have had gland problems before, it might be an infected gland? I dunno xD If it is sweat glands you are talking about, sweat may have gotten trapped under dirt (not to sound vile or say that you are unclean etc, but it can happen) and then gotten infected. Thats my guess :) Good luck

Perhaps it's a swollen lymph node due to an infected hair follicle?

A few years ago I developed some massive swelling and pain in one of my iguinal lymph nodes. The pain was extremely intense, I could barely walk it was that bad.

its likely just a swollen lymph node or possibly a cyst..

if it stays for more than 3 weeks you need to go to the doctors, and theyll drain it for you.
