Don’t flatter yourself senator over my tears tonight my disappointments, expectations breath I wasted in this fight ...rarely were you on my tongue don’t flatter yourself senator we all know it wasn’t that tight not for you my arian man standing firm like jello our warrior our hunter our killer great protector of Jerusalem... “we could do better” ...but you were all that was left so don’t flatter yourself senator we may have created your adversary but you…you were just for effect reaping empty hearts an eleventh hour concession... what more should we expect?
thanks i'm not much into rhyming, but i do like to write. and maybe i should start sharing it. work out some of these feelings. i'm thinking of starting a colaberative work on here within this topic, maybe so we can vent. if anyone feels moved to add to this work or this idea, please do.
i added a verse to this too after the second verse "we opened up your closet and looked right past those bones we focused on the grey suit and that visual cologne"
