Cant remember song title

I remember this song i used to like but don't know who its by so can't listen to it. From what i remember its a alternative rock song with a kinda up beat tempo. Lyric wise i seem to remember the words 'will you' at the start of each verse and about half way through the song the frontman kinda goes 'badobadobadobadoba'. Cant remember much more i just remember it used to be on the radio a lot when i was a kid so probably around 1997-8. Thx
