I was wondering if any here have considered using two threads when showing a written piece?

By this I mean use one thread for the piece and put a link in it to a second thread for discussion. That thread would also contain a link to the piece.

That way the material can be kept free of clutter and edited/improved on an ongoing basis. If occasionally someone posts a comment out of place perhaps it could be removed (by mods for being off-topic) or perhaps the original poster could be informed and remove the content using the edit feature. That would still leave a post but it could be quickly passed through and a work of multiple posts could be read without interruption.

Typical uses would be to use one chapter per post and that way when readers see a new post they know a new chapter is up. Just an example for how it can be used.

I have seen it done in another writing forum and it seemed pretty effective.

    What does everyone think?
