kicking out roomates.

In my opinion, if you are living under my roof and have no job, you have become a nanny. the house needs to stay spotless, the kids should be fed and bathed, and, last but definately not least you will not talk back to me when i tell you to do stuff.

this roomate claims that since she has been bumming money from her uncle that she is entitled to whatever. first of all, i havent seen any of the money. and she isnt even on the lease. aparently shes been giving my GF 175 a month for rent/utilities/food.

you cant even get a basement dungeon for that much. even if she has been giving us that pocket change i hadnt noticed, cuz like i said, that's pocket change.

I Finally drove her nuts enough to storm out of the house somewhere, i hope she stays gone.

 

well now the house is clean. only an hour or so after she is gone.

i am better than some people..

 

i kicked a chick out last year cause she wasn't paying.

if she says she's getting money from her uncle, tell her to move in with her uncle.

 

put her shit on the curb for when she comes back.

 

thats what we did when we kicked my sons mother out.

this one has a 400 pound tv, big fucking bedframe, dresser. too much. if she wants her shit she can worry about all that.

 

175 a month? send her on down, hell that will cover our entire monthly supply run..lol

 

ill definately say that line. i cant believe i didnt think about sayin it in the first place.

 

rent alone is 525. then you got dp&l has been running about 90 a month, gas is about 15 a month during the summer, but over winter we were payin upwards of 300 a month. food is whatever we spend, and we might have been able to afford renters insurance if she would have paid bills, but we dont have it. and we gotta pay trash/water every three months which is about 130. she used the internet more than anyone here, which is 35 a month. she never bought laundry detergent, toilet paper, or anything else for that matter.

yeah, delivering pizzas 40+ hours a week for tips just so i can give all my money to some assholes i never met. thats pretty much the real world. Id rather live like that than be a mooch.

 

work towards dropping out. it doesnt have to be that way..

 

My main goal in life is getting 160 acres somewhere that I can farm, putting in a sustainable power grid, and farming it in a sustainable manner.


I wanna be a rocket scientist in the meantime, but, hell, being a farmer with a collier award on the mantle seems to me like the best life goal possible.

Honestly, I just want ~50. but I figure I'll be able to sell it off as time goes by to finance improvements, and maintenance.

Also, I've been spending more time out in fallon (agricultural community fifty miles from reno, alfalfa, and ranches) and learning more about cows, and thinking that grass fed cattle could be a decent idea in the long run, they require a lot more acreage than corn fed cattle, but can be sold for a higher price, and tend to be healthier animals.

 

we seriously would consider giving room and board to someone for about that.. im not sure many could handle the way we live even with rent/meals being that cheap though..

we would still want them to help out a little around here and most folks think they should be paid to shovel shit..

 

thats not true at all. if you have good pasture ya dont need but a acre per cow. aint no way you could fatten up a cow(feed it for a year) on a acre of corn.

i mean we are talking sustainability. so whether the animal is on a feed lot or in a pasture youve got to consider what it will take to feed them,not the space they need to exist.

 

grass fed cows are more delicious
