It really really sux to be used. As a guy I have been used by women over and over, because of reasons that have to do with their own gratification and ego-trips. I do not even know why I feel so bad about it. I realized that once I can just get my mind to focus strongly enough, I realized that its impossible to be used because we are all being used for one way or another - the next part is choosing to surround yourself through daily decisions such as how much effort you put into looking good and sexy, to the type of clothes you wear, to how honest you are. When it all boils down, its about how much you are willing to be with people that deeply believe what you believe, feel what you believe and are there to work and play with you about what you want to feel. Discuss and support me dammit! Just kidding, a thought is all I need.
I'll be honest and say I don't really understand what you're trying to say but I'll put a thought in anyway. I think you are usually using your partner in a relationship, for a mulitude of things (happiness, sex, companionship) the only way it will last and work though is if you are both giving and taking equally and if not then the relationship usually splits.

Selfish actions are simply impossible, every action is an action that comes from the self at some specific principle that the self has learnt.
