A few months ago we had a bit of a staff get together at my work (local pub), cheap drinks and got pretty smashed and a mate from work gave me a pill too which I don't usually take so it hit me pretty hard. Cant remember heaps from the pub because I was pretty smashed but it closed so a few of us headed back to a chick from works place. A few of us were sitting out the back and all of a sudden LSD in a bottle, like liquid form was being passed around. I had read about it a bit before, and my parents were away for a few days, and didn't have anything really important on for a few days so I was like why not, so she just dropped one drop straight onto my tongue. 3 other people there had some too. All three other guys I'd worked with for a while. One of the guys decided to drive home straight after having it - I think so he could just chill out at his place before it started hitting him. And the other 2 stayed there with me and we just sat around chatting. So i found myself sitting in the back yard, looking at the ground - which was all dirt, except for one green weedy plant, and when i felt the acid kicking in I could just remember staring at this plant and looking how green it was - and the colour was ridiculous. It was the most intense, brightest green I had ever seen. Like light was even coming out of it, and the brown of the dirt was also really intense behind it.. It was really cool Then we went inside and the girl started showing me all these cool books of pictures and stuff - by Alex Grey. Some of them I just couldn't stop looking at, like she would turn the page and all i wanted to do was turn back to the page before and keep staring at it. She had a bunch of cool posters and things around which were heaps cool I just loved staring at. She poured us cups of tea which were so nice and I picked up a sketch book and started drawing a few crazy things. The first picture was really stupid just a cartoon face thing but with the second drawing I did, I just let my pencil flow and from what i remember did the coolest face, and it was all in one pencil line. When my tea was empty I went outside to find her, and found myself just standing there staring at them - and I couldn't really talk to say what I wanted, but managed to communicate to her that I wanted another cup of tea just by looking at her. So it was getting late, and the girl had to work in the morning so she kind of told us to leave. My place was like a 20 minute walk from her place so we went outside and set off, with one of the guys from my work. It turned out almost an hour had passed and we hadn't even left the drive-way. These big hedge trees which were leaning over us were like chewbacka's, and we were sort of just running around in circles fighting them, it was dark and a bit scary but still fun. Eventually we were told we were waking people up and had to get going so we started walking.. The hills were glowing from the sun which was going to be rising soon, like the night sky above the hills was a blue colour, and then everything was quite scary. Now I was really quite scared, I was trying to piece together my night, what had happened etc. and was looking at this guy from my work and looking at his face and he looked like someone else, I was doubting whether he was actually the guy who i thought it was. and I was scared that he was just planning to get me or something crazy... and he kept doing my head in saying things that got me thinking so much about random stuff. At one stage he walks onto the road yelling something, and I can see this big fucking truck coming, and coming and all of a sudden BAM! It hits him. I am in shock and just stand there, but after the truck goes past he it just standing there laughing, so I joined in laughing - even though it was like one of the most scary moments ever! So we keep walking on my way to my house and some little dog was barking at us, and i looked down at it and it was going mental and It was so scary then i looked up and it was just massive and was going to eat me so we started running. When we got home, my mate from work sat outside, while i went inside, and my turtle grabbed my attention - so i picked it up and started staring at it and he was talking to me - saying how he was never really appreciated and then starts saying how he see's so much stuff and is always watching my family, im not too sure what else it was pretty trippy. Then before i know it, a LOT of time had passed. The 20 min walk home had taken over 2 hours, and I had been inside with my turtle over half an hour with my mate outside by himself, when i went to find him - he was gone! - So I just went to bed. A few hours later I woke up by my phone ringing by the other dude who took acid from my work and we decided to meet down at a park around the corner. I was still heaps fucked from the acid - (like 7 or 8 hours after I had it). I was trying to cross the road, but couldn't judge the cars properly, who had angry faces on all of them. I eventually got across and saw my mate who was REALLY still heaps fucked - he's just calling up random people from work and I'm just sitting there, mainly shocked by him - he's not making ANY sense, just utter ramble - like starting half sentences then starting others and talking about how he'll solve all the worlds problems etc. But the sun was coming out and we were sitting in this park and everything started looking really cool. The green grass oval, was sort of swelling up and down like the ocean - as if we were sitting on a boat, with a green ocean. All the tree's had HEAPS of little bugs crawling up and down around the place though, which were a little scary - but it was more chilled out with the sun shining, but i was a bit all over the place and confused about what had happened. I know that was heaps long but i thought i'd just write what happened, it was really fun and an interesting experience, and I'm very keen to try it again because I know it will be so much different for a second time. Ever since that night though, when I see green plants on a brown background - they really stand out. or if i go for a run into the local national park, some of the green plants seem to have that same glow which I had never noticed before. I've also acquired a great love for tea since (I never drank it before), and I decided that I should draw more, and have felt that I have potential to do some cool creativity withing me which I should express, and that simplicity can be a key to a good drawing - I know that when i used to draw I kept adding more and more things to the drawing and ended up ruining it. I've posted a few of my artworks in the art section of these forums. So yea, i know that was really long, but felt like i should write it down somewhere before I forget too much about it. Would love to hear from some people if they can relate to any of the things i felt etc. Peace out
