Ranting about my Psychology Class!!!!

ugh! my teacher is such a fuckin truckin asshole! i was speakin my mind as she encourages. another student was talking but we usually have discussions like that in the class and i was talkin with my friends about her subject which was dreaming of death. i just stated that usually death is the opposite of whatever the meaning is or something. and my teacher said "laurel,...shhhh!" ugh! she wants us to speak our mind and yet i couldn't. its not just today...she is not a good teacher...she bothers me. i have issues on the subject of rape and really do not like to talk about it. i told her at the beginning of the year that i know we would talk about it in class and asked her to let me know when and i would not attend that day. well i was late for class one day and i came in just as we were talkin about marriage. i joined in and understood the material and then 10 minutes before class was over she wanted to talk about date rape! she did not pass over to me and whisper what she was going to talk about and she did not forget about me either! i left class in a hurry and cried! i confronted her the next day and she apologized...i have been kind of edgy for the past 2 weeks since then...because in that same class she had to go and talk about it and did not let me know once again! i left...i just want to cry. she is such a jerk!

 

You may not believe this but teachers are human too and sometimes they can be petty and attention seekers. She might be a little weary of you. Watch yourself!!!

I sympathize with you. However, I agree with Bellfire. I believe that did not intend to do you harm. I also hope that you seek some counsling with your problem and resolve it now or as soon as possible. Things of this nature will follow you throughout your life and you must deal with them head on.

 

yeah i am seeing a counsler. and the thing is i can talk about it if i feel comfortable...but its hard to hear someone else talk about it and even jokes...people make jokes and i do not think that is cool
