Hey, all! So, I'm new here. Just signed up, and wanted to formally introduce myself. Hope you all are happy, wherever you are. Something really special happened last night, and I wanted to share it. I went to Times Square, to meet some friends I hadn't seen in a year or so. I arrived early and stopped by the FREE HUGS campaign (which, if you have not seen it, is awesome). I stopped near the TKTS booth, sat on the curb, and proceeded to stare up at the sky and buildings. As I was doing it, a sudden feeling of insignificance fell over me (those buildings are HUGE, man!). But then I looked down, and - seated to my right - was a child, no more than 5 or 6, looking up at me with a big smile on his face (his parents were nearby, of course). Totally made my day.
A bit too much information for a newbee. Yeah, when I looked back on it, I was praying that the story wouldn't be taken the wrong way. It was just a nice, unexpected moment. Nothing creepy, or anything. Thanks for the welcome!
