6 hours and 15 minutes (central time)!!!!!! Who's down? Some of us have been waiting ages. It should be quite swell.
someones excited bout getting some pot? huh? im confused whats this thrwead about oh god dont tell me theyre making another 1 of those dumb harry potter movies again oh wait..he said quite swell didnt he im guessing someone lied about theyre age...maytbe reversed the numbers?
Not my taste....The fist one was awesome when I was like seven, but.... Oh man, I really WAS seven when the first one came out! crazy.
im proud to say i successfully avoided seeing all of em..well except maybe 20 minutes of 1 when i was extremely bored couldnt sleep and there was nothing else on but infomercials incidentally after the 2o boring minutes i ended up watching an infomercial just to avoid watching the rest of it
The movies are as good as they could have been. I read all the books and enjoyed them. But I am not looking forward to the new potter movie, I dont think I saw the 5th one yet.
im going to see it either tomorrow, or thursday, depends on who is around, and i am 21 also and damm proud of liking harry potter, the movies are in no way as good as the book but they are very entertaining
Does anyone else find it just a bit pathetic that both the actors and the fans are all adults now, but still so involved in what can only be seen as a very childish, overly marketed and, truth be told, unoriginal story?
I think it's a bit pathetic that you are trying so hard to be anti mainstream and hating on something just because it's popular. It was intended to be entertaining and nothing else. It must be doing something right if the franchise is one of the biggest in blockbuster history
I love Harry Potter almost as much as my daughter does....I also love other children's books & movies. I'll never grow up.
My sisters , and mom are fans. It's alright. I'll probably watch the movie when it comes out on dvd (or when I find a copy online) I read like four of the books, i found them sort of bland, lacked imagery or detail- the movies I feel about the same, like the basic plot and idea has potential but just ends up being just sort of flat , kwim?
I've seen the movies, first few in the theaters. Read all the books. I don't think the movies are as good as they could have been, honestly. I think Daniel Radcliffe is a poor actor and none of the kids look much like the characters described in the books. Harry doesn't even have green eyes ffs! I'll admit some of the cinematography/CGI is spectacular, but some of it is total crap, like a cheap halloween costume or something... I dunno I just have had trouble fully appreciating the movies. I'll probably see the last two though because I've seen all the rest and I'm too OCD to leave a series unfinished. But I doubt I'll be paying $8 a ticket, I'll rent it for a buck fiddy or pirate.
Thanks to this movie, my husband isn't getting out of work until 12:00. I love our "our" time, damn it! So, I am not pleased. Jackass did pretty bomb diggity in blockbuster history, what does that tell you?
