Well, when I was a baby, my mother told me that when I saw another black baby passing by my stroller in her stroller, I started making monkey sounds.
I know I am at least a little prejudiced. It is not simply restricted to race, at all. It encompasses stupid people, and the homeless.
You've never had a preconceived notion about a certain race whether it was good/pleasant or not? For instance thinking that black people all have big shlongs is racist. It's not malicious, but still racist.... Just one of many examples. White people can't jump is generally true, but racist none the less.... See, I'm white and racist against white people...
the human brain categorizes everything in order to save space. this includes categorizing people by their most noticeable traits, including skin color. so everyone is racist, at least to that extent.
I have a serious problem with people who pigeonhole themselves. I have to believe everyone does. and a society that encourages it as strongly as ours does, bad thing.
plenty of white people can jump. basketball players don't really jump all that high anyways...they're just tall and yes, i feel perfectly fine being called a racist.
Sorry, but if you have a jumping contest of 20,000 people, you're getting MAYBE 5 white guys in the top 100.... Just sayin'.... And nobody is talking about basketball players.
i just get annoyed by people that get all uppity with their "i'm so much better than that i'm not at all racist how could you say such a thing" so i decided to go ahead and post my argument against them preemptively. i think racist jokes are funny as hell. i treat everyone the same based on how they act rather than how they look, but i'd be lying if i said i don't keep some racial stereotypes in the back of my mind for practical use as well. i work in customer service after all; if i wasn't a little wary of black people in that context i would have been fired from every job i've had for giving away more free food than i end up selling.
