I been looking at this website that sells plans for building a magnetic electricity generator.

I just would like to know is it a scam anyone out there had eney experiences with something similar did eney of u made electricity with magnets

Well... most things labelled "free" anything nowadays are scams, but there is a relationship between electricity and magnetism. The thing is, kinetic energy needs to be introduced into the system (e.g., magnet moves through conductive coil). So in the end you're really not making much energy at all, you're just CONVERTING it... and that's before thermodynamic laws and whatever are applied.

So if it does make any energy at all, it's not really, really significant. If you can't build it yourself, don't spend too much money on it.

And, of course, if you don't take my advice, tell us how it goes.

PS: It never hurts to google whatever you're suspectiing + the word "scam."

That's the thing there are good reviews and bad ones that's why am not sure I guess it depends on the builders ability to turn blue prints in to working model.

The blue print and the guide where to get the materials is ok priced $50 what I don't know how much will the materials cost how many magnets will I need and so on....

Thats why am asking has anyone already build magnetic machine that worked and how much the end project cost?

This is what I found on the Internet from my understanding its something similar to this.

Generating energy through magnets is really inefficient. It's a secondary energy source for running cars. It's also how those everlasting hand-cranked flashlights work.

If you've ever used one of those flashlights you know exactly how hard you have to pump one of those things to get a charge that will last even a couple seconds. These systems always require a large amount of mechanical input energy to get them running. Unless you have a factory-farm of hamsters running 24/7 I don't think that you could generate enough charge for anything more significant than a flashlight.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but 90% of the electricity in the world is generated from electro-magnetic generators. The only electricity that isn't, comes from solar panels, etc.

But the generator's wires have to be moving in the magnetic field, which obviously requires some other form of energy to achieve the motion ... moving water, burning fuel, nuclear reactions, whatever.

I have no knowledge of the particular system you're talking about, but if it claims to generate electricity without any other energy input, then it's a scam.

The energy that moves the magnets/turbines comes from fossil fuels.

Same way a car's alternator works. You first need a combustion engine to use the alternator. Everyone knows how long a car battery lasts while idle.

Alternators only changes energy from 1 form to a more useful form. Such as liquid gas to easily transportable energy. Or physical energy to light (in a desperate situation). But unless you can harness a really renewable source of energy (geothermal, gravitational waterway) then it's really not that practical in replacing conventional energy sources in conventional applications.

    @ The OP

In this particular case the it doesn't violate any energy laws. In fact, it isn't even a generator, it is basically a drive train linkage.

The fly wheel has magnets in it with poles facing the outside that are alternating. The lever arm has a magnet whose poles are oriented between the top and bottom.

When one of the poles of the lever arm (for instance the bottom pole if the lever is in the up position) is near one of the magnetic poles on the flywheel the two poles attract if they are opposite (north and south), and repel if they are the same (north-north or south-south). This will start the wheel turning (the direction based upon the pole orientation...) and the lever arm moving down.

There will be a spot in the middle where the forces equal and do not contribute to further motion. When the rotary momentum of the wheel pushes it farther around, an opposing pole from the next magnet will begin to slow the wheel. But, if the lever arm will be pushed on down its opposite pole will be the nearer one and the wheel will continue to rotate.

By pushing the lever arm up and down, it is possible to keep at a pace that keeps the poles alternating on both the wheel and the lever to keep the wheel rotating.

I think it should be noted that although his voice keeps an even tone as the wheel speeds up (to a speed that would throw the battery, IMO) his hand moving the lever actually speeds up and becomes blurry. I think that the film was edited to show in fast motion for a short period and the voice dubbed in afterward to give the appearance of fast rotation.

But, anyway, there is no generation of electricity. Magnetism is being used as the linkage in a drive train. It is similar to putting a magnet on a box car and then holding one in your hand and leading the car with it. The car follows your hand and your hand is the one doing your work. The magnet just acts like a piece of rope to pull it by.

In this case, the motion is rotary instead of linear. It is similar to a pottery wheel with a foot pedal. However instead of a belt for a linkage in this case there is the power of magnetism. It is just a drivetrain connecting kinetic energy to kinetic energy.

Note: Perhaps you could say that an electric generator and the lines connecting it to a motor is just a drive train mechanism also. But, to keep the analogy going the creator would have to say that the lever arm is the generator and that it generates kinetic energy through you pushing it up and down. It soesn't sound like free energy any more with that.
