never met the guy. refuse to base my opinions of him, or anyone else, on the basis of someone else's opinions, especially when those in turn are so completely obviously based on hearsay and total speculation, and that most likely prompted by fanatical ideological prejudice.

People are not accusing him of killing thousands of middle Easterners...that's for sure.
    I don't know though.
His name isn't attached to anything other than the economy.
Apart from that he is probably most derided for his distinct lack of on-screen personality...that and the fact a lot of people say they didn't vote for him (he took the place of Tony Blair with out a general election).

    I kinda Like GWB. :)

How is this possible/allowed. Our prime minister kept forcing like mini elections and making people vote. He's a fucking joke. Also now a lot of people are pissed off at him because he never meets with anyone and he was akwardly late for the G8 photo

That was the fault of our president. I mean c'mon... If Cuba offered to let us offload a bunch of obnoxious citizens, we would've dumped our prisons too. Charlie Manson would've surely been on a banana boat if the situation reversed.

I like Fidel. He keeps his people in line and doesn't fuck with us. I liked Saddam too though...
