Hello all, Take a look at these and tell me if you think the new grow on the tops of the buds are in their 'secondary' growth phase, or what? Just when I think the plant might be done, it shoots out new growth at the top points of the buds. While the pistils are brown down along the bud, the new growth harbors newer, white ones. Can't seem to get a handle on when to get the clippers...and recently I let a plant go too far...so now I worry that leaving it too long will ruin things vs. cutting too soon. Cheers. :cheers2:
they shouldn't be doing that...........looks like they are trying to re-veg........is your light still on 12/12, is the place your flowering them completely dark during lights off???? I've only had 1 plant do it and it was outside and the dark cycle was getting interrupted by a street light so it started back into veg then back to flower then back to veg, etc.......
No, these are outside in Rocky Mtn. greenhouse. Sun-up is early...filtered...but at 6:30pm the sun goes behind mtn. but still plenty of light. I wish I could take better pics...but it really doesn't look like re-veg, it looks more like the buds are about to get a second wind since there are white pistils in the new tips. And it seems to be more indicative of this one strain, as other plants are moving along okay (I hope). M4N14...I need your ECSD clones!!
this is the one that's making me think re-veg..... should be solid bud, not cola with a stem and leaf above it............like i said i don't know for sure but i had one outdoors that looked IDENTICAL and it was revegging due to light interruptions during the dark cycle. would love to share the ecsd but don't currently have a way to send clones....
Well, not sure what could be causing it...nutes?...but light comes only from sun. I figure it's "dark" about 9pm, and the sun comes up late due to mtns. so it might be a bit longer than 12 hours light but the issue doesn't seem to be apparent in the other plant strains. It also gets a bit hot (90+) during mid-day heat...so buds have gotten light (bummer)...but that's about it. Who knows...I just hope it makes beautiful resin eventually!!
