Listening to "I'll stand by you" while on the radio at work. I also cried at the end of Milk when Shawn Penn gets shot.

Fuck! I got a bit teary eyed at the end of Milk, too.
    Great flick, by the way.

I cried on Friday night. Got vaguely drunk and was crying for my mama after a little spat with the not quite bf. Yeah, I was a bit red about it the next day, but worst of all, my eyes were pretty puffy the next day. Wait. I cried for my mom. I suppose that's the worst part?

Personally, I don't see any reason one ought to be "vaguely ashamed" to admit the presence of emotional sensitivity. It may be difficult to admit, in that admitting it one may bring oneself into question, according to another's illegitimate perception, but one ought not to have a sense of shame.

    Noooo :(
    His version sucks.
Rufus Wainwright's is clearly the best, his voice shows such great depth of emotion. Jeff Buckley just sounds like some guy singing.

The song was originally written and performed by Leonard Cohen who writes music that is infinitely more moving and interesting than Jeff Buckley, although I must admit that Jeff Buckley's version is better.

    The emotion belongs to Lenny.

He has a whole range of beautiful songs ranging back to the 60s.

I have Leonard Cohen on CD, I love it. :D

I just... for some reason... feel like Jeff Buckley's version gets inside your whole body..

It's really hard to explain without sounding like a weirdo. :(

I never like to cry in front of people - Last time I cried was because I was furious with my dad. I look back on it with indifference now.

By the way Laura, can I ask which album?

I always cry at Joan of Arc which is on Songs of Love and Hate.

    Have you seen the vid?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AratTMGrHaQ

He looks amazing. You just want to climb into the clip and hold him.

    Edit:

Not an actual album... Something that I downloaded from the internet and then burned to a CD... :leaving:

I haven't heard that... Oh..... Are you talking about Jeff Buckley?
