YOU make it sound as if you sat on your ass all day. I'm just calling you out. If you're not passing ANY interviews, you might wanna ask yourself why instead of playing the victim. I have every right to pass judgement. When you post on the internet, its PUBLIC, and its very naive to expect everyone to play nice and sugarcoat things to keep your delicate self esteem intact. It doesn't matter why you came here, i have every right to critisize you because you chose to post. It must be sooo easy to put the blame on the rest of the world and take no responsibility, isn't it? Welcome to the internet, honey. We ain't nice, and I certainly never claimed to be nice. And you're the one being childish, whining about how unfair everything is. PWNED
You aren't inside anyone's head. You don't know what anyone's goals are. No one owes you an explanation. Get off your high horse. I saw nothing in her post that indicated that she sits on her ass all day. You extrapolated that yourself out of thin air, actually. Or there is really no work where she lives... The economy is NOT better, at least not where I live. Well, if it makes YOU feel better to dump on people without knowing the whole story just because of some personal ethic you employ and only see in black and white, then maybe you should start asking yourself why before you start tearing someone to shreds. What do you get out of this exactly? No one's asking you to be nice, but you seem to be going out of your way specifically to act like a dick and I'm just wondering why you are wasting the energy... Yes, because this isn't childish at all. Lol, you really think you won something...
Just because it isn't crashing doesn't mean it isn't bad. http://www.cfr.org/publication/5165/us_economic_situation.html I live in Michigan where almost a third of the workforce is unemployed. She didn't say she was living off unemployment. And you don't speak for every taxpayer, I am sure some have no problem helping their fellow man. Describing someone who has fallen into unfortunate circumstances as a leech is rude and prone to vast generalizations. Besides, she mentioned she was going back to school. Perhaps, someday, she will have a high paying job because of her education and pay three times the ammount of money that you pay in. You assume because she is not working now that she is simply content to remain in the system indeterminately; that, amongst other things, shows a lack of subtle thinking on your part.
Ouch. Burn.... oooooooooooh! I feel like a heard of three year olds just came into the room. Lets take these claims one at a time: Some how I feel you are reading your own insecurities into her post. Cheetos and bean bags, anyone? Or you might want to dumb down your resume and show some cleavage. No one likes tits with a brain, especially when our economy is low. What's bad for white males is bad for America! And I have every right to point out that you have no firm foundation for your arguments, have all the intellectual depth of a puddle in the desert, and consistently fall into ad hominem attacks. (Yes, I know I just did it, it is called irony.) I don't think she was claiming it was unfair, simply that some people tend to be judgemental when you say your unemployed, hence why she doesn't like to speak about how much money she makes.
Ego. But I prefer this wording: I make $15 for the first donation, and $30 for the second donation of the week (plasma)
Because this is the age of Paranoia. They probably think you'll cut one of their legs off, and beat em to death with it so that you can take all of their money.
Actually, it's the exact opposite. If you have no goals in mind life will eat you and shit you out. It's my goals and the knowledge that my income now is just a small stepping stone on the way to larger things. But the thing is, I know how to allocate my money as well. As Jimmy said, no matter how much they make, foolish people will spend it all. So when that promotion comes in with a 3,000 a year raise they see it as an opportunity to get a new car that costs 3,000 a year. That's why even people with outrageous salaries are living paycheck to paycheck while households with two minimum wage workers are able to save and invest.... It's not how much money that comes in that matters. It's how much you're able to keep, and the two are nowhere near related, unless you simply cannot even afford bare necessities. However I feel that is a far bigger, underlying problem. Edit: I will say there's no excuse to be unemployed for more than a month or two, unless you're homeless and carless or something. And even then it's a stretch. I've had 3 job offers in less than 2 weeks.
You're gettin ho'd bro! The plasma place here pays $25 for the first and $30 for the second. I'd consider a strike
Because they are embarrassed... possibly. At my old job I hated talking to people about that stuff, mostly because I was being paid more then everyone else, and knowing how to keep my mouth closed is what helped me keep my pay instead of taking the pay decrease like most of the employees.
I make 0 as well and I live with my father. Are you going to attack me? Because the end of that statement would be that I am enrolled in college working towards a Masters program and I provide day care for my cousins. While there is no numerical benefit to my actions I find them stimulating and worthwhile.
i'm not sure that was an attack and not a simple question... how do you pay for school? i'm asking, not attacking.
