A few days ago I lost 40 percent of my garden to hail and must replant. I am a bit worried though that there is not enough time for the plants to mature. My question is has anyone had any success with late season squash planting.

What type of squash? Most squash only requires 42 days to maturity I would think you still have time for another fruit set.

Sorry for the long reply had a bunch of shit going on. I did replant and got hit by hail again, fortunately the new seeds germinated just days after the last big storm. They are doing well and I cross me toes that another hail storm does not come. The last one destroyed all I wished to save.

That sucks! I recently found out that the next town over from me got a hail storm that destroyed a lot of raspberry and strawberry plants. I had no idea they even got any! Last year most of my crop was decimated by hail, and it's just such a horrible sinking feeling. Here's hoping hail season is over for you! :)

I think the hail season is finally over, it has been a very odd season. All and all I did lose almost everything but my tomato plants have recovered good and they are producing many tiny tomato's. I has shocked my onions also recovered amazingly, healthier then last season which had only one moderate hail storm.
