as far as skip's sticky, no that's not how i interpret it at all. i think he's just sick of noobs and idiots who wandered in from the dready forum sending him tons of emails saying "oh boo hoo, i thought this was a hippie website and not everyone on it poops rainbows like i expected." but i don't think anything has changed as far as enforcing forum guidelines since said sticky.

NO...

What it says is, that complaints and whines sent by email, pm, or other such methods of communication will be ignored.

It also quite clearly says that if you have a problem with a specific posters behavior, to use the report post function and a mod will look into it.

It also quite clearly ends with a general indication of what will and won't be accepted and what to do about it if you disagree with the way it is handled....

What's acceptable, same as anywhere else on the site, nothing that can be considered legal slander or libel.

It also quite clearly suggests what you can do if you don't like it;

So Dave, why don't you tell us exactly what it is that you see differently about the sticky then I do?

p.s. I find it hilarious that dave started this thread after being told to stop whining about a thread here and having the sticky pointed out to him.

based on a (supposed) Free Speech platform,

and you can't exactly censor Free Speech.

Skip could be reining in all the Mods,

throwing that Sticky up,

and letting everyone know that they can NOT ask questions about it

to see if we can be trusted to maintain some sort of self-imposed order.

If we CAN,

he may decide to set us free!

This site is only as much about free speech as Skip allows it to be... He CAN censor anything he wants to...

As for him selling memberships, if you think that matters, you should read the TOS.
