lol I'm so happy you enjoyed it Sarah! WE listened to it at least 15 times yesterday. My youngest kept wanting to dance to it!!

"There's a voice... keeps on callin' me. DOwn the road, that's where I'll always be. Every stop I make I make, I'll make a new friend. Just grab hat, we travel light, that's the hobo style."

    LOVE IT!

Now, I have never heard of the show before...but tons of comments from people on youtube say it is a great part of their childhood! What was it about? A hobo dog?

    Hmmm...

Moutainmama, do you know any baby sitters between here and S? If we could find someone to take our kids for the weekend, we'd be gone. Huh huh? NOt asking much at all...

Sarah, the Littlest Hobo was a big part of most Canadians childhood. The dog traveled to different places alone. A little Hobo Dog. And he'd help out people during his travels. Saving people from danger, etc. And then he would pick up and travel again. Awwww..... But that catchy song lives in our minds forever.

Awww, I can just imagine a wee little boy watching the show.......eating Claude Hoppers and Maple Syrup candy...on a moose....'Eh'.
(Those are all the things I associate with Canada...)

Hmmmm, I'll have to put my thinking cap on. Most people I know & trust are going to Shambhala. Our in-laws are taking care of our daughter & our puppy while we are gone.

You know, it is a mixed blessing to live away from family. :( Would be awesome to have someone to share our kiddos with and drop them off with. My sitter doesn't do weekends. Ah well, one month until we're in a new province, living near my sis and seeing all the music our brains can handle.

Had a weirdly good day, far too much work, but at about midday I was looking for jobs because work is shit, found a great one thats about 2 1/2 x what I earn now so I phoned about it, and I had to attend a hiring day thing that the bloke said was "wednesday the 22nd, so tomorrow" then I reminded him it was wednesday today, jumped the fuck in the car and drove off to solihull. Had an interview which went really well, they are going to p-hone me back, then at work this evening while I was having a felling sorry for myself fag break I saw a girl walking down the road holding a bunny rabbit, which put me in a great mood.

Right now I've been awake for about 30 hours, and I have to be at work again in 7, so I'm going to get some fucking sleep.

I'll be ok when I finish this 3 weeks of hell shifts, but then I wont be earning any money so :p.

Did you know (this is a rhetorical question BTW) to earn the national average wage while on minimum wage you'd have to work 80.5 hours a week, every week of the year. I don't earn minimum wage BTW, I get a whole 27p / hour more.
