Relocation To Seattle Area

    I am contemplating a move from one coast to the other. Ive been to Seattle and really enjoyed it. Any advice for places to live or for possible employment connections?

    Are you looking at moving into the city, the suburbs or the mountains? And what type of work do you do?

    well, Im not sure exactly. Capitol Hill would be ideal. My background is in counseling and social work.

    Capitol Hill is a great area. Just be ready to shell out some big ones... and be aware that this is where the gay population lies. Trust me, there is never a dull moment in Capitol Hill. Ballard is also a great area.

    I'm not really familiar with locations north of Seattle, but I would say steer clear of Tukwila and Federal Way (in South Sound). Some good locations south of Seattle are Issaquah, Sammamish, Renton, and some parts of Kent.
