Hi! I have been thinking about the relationship between man and women, and I have been doing some research on Barry Long, this man who called himself the only "western Tantric Master". It got me thinking about how women still do not have sexual freedom even in this time of supposed equality. Even though we now act like men and work like men (and what good is that, didn't they create the violence and excessive materialism of this world?), we are pretending we can also have sex like them. Well what is so good about unattached sex? Isn't that careless and reckless, a lie to oneself and others? We are still slaves to the images that man has created for us and asked us to fulfill for him, because he is a slave to his desires. This makes us double blind and fooled. We think we should please the man sexually and put on a great show for him, moaning loudly and all, just so he will accept us, and if he doesn't we have low self-esteem. I think that womankind's natural state is one of pure unconditional love, but mankind puts conditions on it. Barry Long says "mankind in his selfishness taught woman how to be selfish". We are good the way we are, love itself. We should not have a partner that does not accept us the way we are and see us as a perfect gift from nature, or else we are feeding their egos. We should be strong enough to stand up for love and overcome the illusions of the mind.
If we tell women to cover their bodies and sex only one man all their lives, they say we're putting them down. If we tell them to go wild, they say we're exploiting them. If we tell them nothing, they say we're ignoring them. It's alright. Men figured out a long time ago that we can't do anything right so far as women are concerned.
word. you know, there are plenty of healthy men out there exercising healthy relationships with the women in their lives. there are unhealthy men out there...there are unhealthy women out there....im personally tired of the "goddess movement" refusing to accept the fact that imbalance between the sexes is often just a reflection of ones own inner imbalance. we live in an oppressive society, everybody feels oppressed, its not a man/woman thing...its not a black/white thing. that said, i agree with alot of what you wrote. you deserve a lover whom can meet you on your level. bless
