Hey, i had a quick question. Ive been looking into doing things natural. Just recently i fell into a minor depression for 6 months and also battle with anorexia. Odd i know, why because i am a guy? Well it happens to males too, not necessarily about looks but more about control. Anywho, back to the point, just recently being able to eat again and not feel so awful half the time (great thanks to the herb, never fails) i am turning down a different path. Im looking to just start eating all organic food. That includes organic vegetables, fruits, and meats. Ready to take on food again but im wanting to do it right for my mind and my health. I was wondering if any of you had any experience with this and or can give me some advice on whats good and whats not and if there is a such thing as organic meat.

    Peace and Love.

your story is much like mine.... i too had anorexia and depression so i know where your coming from on this....there is such thing as organic meat..... it even says it on the label also look for free range eggs, meat (poultry, wild game, anything really) and dairy products. many stores carry these items (beware they are slightly more expensive) but the safest bet is to locate a strictly organic store (they have these to!) these really come in handy if you dont feel like scouring the whole store for something to eat.... if one of these are not available in your town then any grocery store works! also when looking at organic vegtables AND meat/meat products make sure they are not genitically modified or from factory farms for organic foods can be a result of these cruel and unnatural ways of producing food. Good luck and i hope i helped if not just a little....

    peace and love,
    lauren

p.s.: if interested in healthy eating try a lacto-ovo vegitarian diet (you still eat eggs and dairy products just not fish chicken or any red meat) that is, if your not to attached to meat.

Your age matters. Anorexia at young age 1st sign of schizoid tendensies. I've known many anorexic men. U need: beef, Bcomplex, alittle sugar &salt all organic. Eggs help and have alittle organic wine until condition clears itself around age 55. Stay away from halucigens and walk alot to increase endorphens. Tell your Doc and ask for MILD valium. U don't want to sleep all the time just feel better.

Unless u have special "herb" its loaded with STRONG pesticides & can cause insanity. Also avoid mercury (fish) for quite awhile. Look into DETOX. U r gonna need it big time. If u get Suicidal RUN to Doc. Its not from problems in life. Its from demntia. U need healing.

  6. More important than your diet is regaining your self esteem and not feeling the need to use food as a method of being in control. Eat healthily and keep your mind healthy and good luck mate!

well diet can have a direct impact on depression and other emotional disorders but changing ones diet is a small part of the healing process.ultimately the healing does indeed come from a lot of hard work on the persons part and that must begin with the desire to get better.

Make sure you eat a lot of whole grains, beans, veggies. stay away from sugars, fatty foods, junk food, salty foods, chemically foods, fast food, pop, stuff with MSG in it. Breathe fresh clean air, very important.

Detox is not good for people with eating disorders. Neither are fasts. Just eat whole, organic foods and take care of yourself, spiritually and physically.
