New gal from NY (Though not for long!)

My name is Zoë and I am happy to find these forums, as to meet like minded people around the world to talk with and maybe even one day meet!

I live in Orange County, New York, a very boring little area. I'm extremely restless here, and that is why I am getting out and seeing the big bad world one year from now.

I enjoy languages and music and art and science and nature. I'm the singer in a band that is working on covering all of the Who's rock opera 'Tommy' in August. I also enjoy singing classical pieces, and have been training for almost three years.

I enjoy travel above all else. I just recently came back from a volunteer international workcamp in Finland. I fell in love with the country, it's people, and it's language. As shown in my username! Siili = Hedgehog in Finnish. I am going to take a year off next year to travel and do more long term volunteer camps, mainly in Eastern Europe but I also plan on going back to Finland, possibly Iceland, and I will probably find myself in Afria and Asia as well.

I hope to get to know you guys better, and hopefully create some friendships. Sorry for rambling!
