I wilted in the heat today...just like my garden did. Now that its cooling off, I feel some energy and I think I'm gonna go for a bike ride.

How do you make refried beans anyway? Do you fry them then fry them again or what?

 

cook them normally then throw them in a frying pan with some oil and sauteed garlic and mash them with a potato masher, adding some of the water you cooked them in until they are a creamy consistency. I used black beans but pinto is traditional.

We used to make completely homemade mexi dinner at least once a week... but then hubby started working at a taco stand and started not wanting the same for dinner

youre making me hungry!!!! all I had to eat today was a chile relleno, which I should explain consists of a large chile, dont remember what its called its not really spicy filled with oaxaca chese, and some red rice.... makes me hungry just thinking about it *drool*

and talking about beans gives me a craving for enfrijoladas

The best thing in the WHOLE world is a Hummus, Falafel, and tabouli flat bread wrap.

^ agreed with,but my homemade houmos is not that great,was going to make pitta breads too but my flour is running low.
Anyhoo ive just installed phtoshop 7.0 and its pissing me off big time as i cant cut my picture out with the lasso tool properly..........any help?? anyone??

 

I have always used Photoshop CS3, but what problem are you having?
I mean, how isn't it working and how are you doing it?

i want to cut out a picture (of a head wearing a hat) and put it on a plain background.Im using magnetic lasso tool to draw round the image but its missing loads of bits out or cutting off my heads nose or hair.Ive tried doing it really carefully and slowly but it keeps happening,is there a mini tool to tidy up the edges and bring back the bits ive missed somehow?
its so frustrating grrrrrrrrrrrr
anyway the mural sounds pretty cool,i would love to do summut like that,your friend must think you have some talent otherwise they would'nt of asked you

 

Well I am really no photoshop pro---I usually do things the of fashion way... For instance, I'd probably erase a clear line separating what you want to be lassoed and left behind, and then it should grab what you want.


And I've never met the guy, He seems like a cool fella, But it was my mum that boasted about my work to him and relayed his invite to me. I found many wall murals that he made that I recognize around the city we live in, and I've got to say, I'd be great to think that I helped with one! And worst come to worst, I could at least help but bringing paint or cleaning brushes, and it'd still be super fun =P
