Ed Rendell, the Dem Gov of PA, just said that his state received $1 B in stimulus last year and is going to get $2 B this year. Then he said, the actual words out of his mouth were that those funds will help to save 5,000-10,000 jobs. Umm, that's $300,000/job. Can someone please explain to me why people think this is a good thing. Maybe Harrisburg can create a couple million more jobs with the money (LOL, how many people in PA are out of work, anyway?), but Rendell didn't say anything about that. Maybe Harrisburg is going to use the money for other stuff that won't save jobs, but the idea of the stimulus was to save or create jobs. So can someone please explain this to me. Maybe I just don't understand, but when I look at the facts and numbers, as I understand them, it makes no sense. Not my opinion, fact. Yes, my opinion is that Obama is either a complete fool or an fucking asshole (I'm not sure which), and you can argue that, but you can't argue with facts and numbers. And also does anyone still believe anything Obama says, and why?
Once you start simply believing what any authority figure says you are in trouble. Never stop questioning. That's the trouble. Not enough energy going into questioning what the hell is going on. Keep it complex enough and nobody even can figure out the right questions to ask...

That's exactly what they are doing with the health care bill. No one really knows what is in there. It's like 1100 pages and Obama wants to vote on it NOW!! Why? Because the vote needs to happen before the reps start to see all the bad scary shit in there. If the reps get to go home for Summer break then their constituents will let them know how they feel and they will be less likely to vote for it. For instance, you go to buy a car. And it looks nice and you like the color and style and everything. But the dealer doesn't want you to order a carfax report or let your mechanic have a look at it. Because then the truth will come out. If Obama let's congress have to much time with this, the truth will come out that this IS BAAAAD FOR AMERICA!!!
