i am getting my first tattoo in a few hours...

A tattoo of what?

 

just came fromt the tattoo place...basicly a sun tattoo with a face in it...i'll post a picture of it when i can

 

I like sun tattoos...we'd be a bit dead without the good old sun eh?

 

yes esp for me as without sun = no plants!!

a quick question: how long can i wait until i put the cream on? because i am sweating like hell and want to remove the plastic (it's been over 2 hours) but i don't have the cream on me right now ( will buy it later)

 

It's a new open wound, so I think unless you are able to wash it then put a fresh dressing on to keep it clean and stop it becoming too dry until you have lotion...then maybe you should just stick it out and deal with the sweating...and do everything properly once you have some cream.

 

Hopefully you won't sweat all the ink back out...haha doh

 

hehe i just removed the plastic thing i was swaeting too much (veryhot over here) cleaned it with some damp tissues going to buy some bepanthen in na hour or so..

i am very happy with my tattoo and for anyone else who wants to get one: they don't hurt AT ALL! my first peircing (lobe) hurt way more than this! and i used a gun for my lope

 

Don't hurt "at all" lol I'm sure it depends a great deal on the tattoo and the body part. Although, when I got my first tattoo, the tiny one on the back of my neck, I had been ready to literally actually totally die in agony...so by comparison to this, the sensation was little more than some slightly annoying scratching.
I'm planning a scalp tattoo though...I'm pretty sure there won't be anything "slightly" about it, apart from maybe "slightly godawful" lol

no it's only in black it's not finshed yet, it's on my shoulder (probly why it did not hurt very much, just an annoying scratch) i will take a picture and upload it just as soon as i find my usb cord for my camera...this is my first tattoo and defently not my last!

what are you going to get on your scalp?

 

Flowers ofc It's sort of a hardcore skanky place to have a tattoo in some ways I suppose, so I need to make sure it's bright and clean and pretty.

 

nice put some pictures up when it's done i like tattoos in unorthodox places (even though i just got mine on my shoulder...the most common place for a tattoo )
