Thats sweet, i'd imagine being custom made she'll be able to shoot some pretty long distance shots, good thing you have alot of space to get the most out of it

yeah, only one i have ever shot was the crappy ones supplied by junior high as i recall.

will be curious to see how far it shoots.i believe he is only making it 35 pound pull. they talked about making it a little heavier pull because she can pull my 55 pound compound back,but a compound has that let off a long bow doesnt. once ya pull it ya gotta hold that weight..

 

My one and only try at a long bow ended in my forearm being slapped atleast 5 times with a bow string and when the arrow did leave the bow it landed nowhere near my intended target so I decided me and a bow were not made for each other. Now I do own a crossbow that is rather nice but unlawful to use during bow season in my state (jerks).

Congrats on the bow, they are very lovely to look at and I own a long bow that is used for hanging on the wall only (the guy messed up something and it started to crack under string tension so his fuck up my gain to hang on the wall)

I am glad my tax dollars go for something besides some politicians pocket. Nice to see the real guy getting a little something back.

he wondered,and now we do as well what percentage of native american bows failed when tested for the first time??

anyway,he said he has already picked out the wood for the next one and will just make her another one. so all is not lost ..
