Hey Nesta, it looks as though we were typing at the exact moment. I have cultivated mushrooms on a few occasions- once with startling success (4.5lb dry wt. w/ zero effort on my part). BTW, the university town I mentioned in an earlier post: Bloomington, IN. Small world.
apparently a mushroom tea works well for people who have physical problems with eating mushrooms, though i've never experienced that discomfort myself so i can't tell you firsthand. i just want to re-emphasize the suggestion that you look for upcoming festivals/shows in your area... it's no secret that a lot of psychedelic drugs circulate in that community... just don't be too "narc"-ish
damn! anyway, i really don't know where to get it here (honest) but i do know it's around. i also haven't any clue about anything else. as a general rule i find psychedelics intensely interesting and promising, and have for nearly a decade now, but i generally find the people i am familiar with who use them to be distasteful and disrespectful, nothing but thrill seekers. not all, but most. some RC vendors will deal with it, apparently. i don't know of any though. used to, but that was a few years ago and i have long since been out of the loop. but yeah, it sounds like you may have substantial experience with mushrooms, but if you've never tried tea by some odd chance i would suggest it. the bulk of the GI upset is due to the mushrooms themselves being difficult to digest rather than a peripheral effect of the active alkaloids. tea not only gets around this matter, it also hits far faster and harder, though the experience is slightly shorter. i never throw up when i drink tea. i always throw up when i eat the mushrooms. further, i have found ginger to be indispensable when it comes to combating nausea. anyhow, good luck
Nesta, I know exactly what you mean when referring to the distasteful and disrespectful thrillseekers. Many who try acid don't recognize its potential and treat it like another fun drug. Psychedelics are fun. Anything that actively engages the mind is fun. But psychedelics deserve respect as well- this is, of course, powerful magic. I think that's why it went bad for me so long ago. I never stopped the deep exploration but I certainly abused my relationship with the drug. I showed off. I had to be the most seasoned veteran of the psychic wars. If a friend took five hits, I had to take ten. This petty ego issue had no place in the psychedelic realm and I was banished ( I hope not permanently). Question: You are the second in this thread to make reference to RC vendors- I am so technologically infantile- can you explain this term?
^^ RC Vendors are online websites that distribute research chemicals. Research chemicals are drugs that have similar effects to acid, speed, marijuana, ecstasy, however just aren't quite, but very similar (there's TONS of 'em, some would be like a mix between acid and X, speed and X, or just acid, etc.). A potential downfall, being that they are "research chemicals", the potential of harmful long term effects are virtually unknown at this point, however many at the moment seem relatively harmless. 2C-E is a popular research chemical that in my opinion is very similar to LSD, if not, better in a few area's. Visually the strongest thing I've ever taken, definitely had a psychic link between my best friend and I during one experience, the whole mind reading deal, spiritually uplifting in my case... damn, wish I had some right now. Lol. Of course LSD has it's own feel, but some things do come quite close and if not are just plain great in their own unique qualities. You can attempt to find research chemicals through the use of Google, however sharing any direct links to a particular vendor through forum discussion is against board rules and can result in a ban. Most "side discussion" however about these particular chemicals goes on in the "Synthetic drugs" board if you wanna learn more, Erowid.org also helps too.
to elaborate a bit more, RC usually refers to substances structurally and qualitatively comparable to illicit drugs. for instance, 4-HO-DMT is psilocin, one of the primary psychoactive substances in magic mushrooms. it is a schedule I substance in the US - in other words it is flat out illegal with no recognized medical use or safety under medical supervision (at least, according to the government - many in the medical field may disagree with it being unsafe when used under medical supervision) a very similar chemical stucture is found in 4-AcO-DMT, which is a more recently created synthetic psychedelic. the similarity exists beyond structure - it's effects are said to be very, very similar to those of mushrooms. it has earned the name "psilacetin." because it is fairly new and is in fact structurally different from any schedule I substance, it remains unscheduled and therefore unregulated at the moment, making it -technically- legal to manufacture, sell, and possess. however, this is a grey area to say the least. the federal analog act, a highly flawed peice of drug legislation, allows any item "substantially similar" to a schedule I or II substance to be illegal by default - if there is any evidence of intention to consume it. because of this, "research chemical" vendors (the phrase research chemical is restricted almost exclusively to dealers in these designer drugs, people who offer ONLY psychoactive substances and often in small quantities) are often targeted by law agencies and shut down. they often do business with people who break down and distribute the drugs personally in a local market, but they also often do business with people buying strictly for personal use. many vendors are scam artists, and many are legit. some get shut down quickly, and arrests are made. however, many are discrete and more or less safe (usually). because they already operate within such a questionable area from a legal perspective, there are a few vendors which will offer substances which are no strictly illegal in their country but ARE illegal in the US. for instance 2C-B, 2C-T-7, AMT, 5-MeO-DiPT. they may also offer substances which are flat out illegal in both the country of origin and the country in which the consumer resides, such as DMT, mescaline or LSD. this is less common, but does occur. these vendors, by their nature, are often a lot more difficult to get access to.
