not looking forward to it, but it has to be done....

This friday i have to go have a barrium nitrate test done, i really don't want to, but i have no joice....i've heard so many things about it, that it hurts, then i was told no, its not pain, just uncomfortable....i'm really dreading friday...has anyone ever had one? recently? what was it like?

My mom had one a long time ago and she said that it burnt a little, but it wasn't too bad. She said it was just a little uncomfortable.

 

a barrium enema nitrate test.....they put something up your anus, then pour liquid of somesort , and i do beleive they have some kind of camera....so i get to see a video of my intestines....doesn't sound like much fun does it?

Haven't had the barium nitrate done, but I have had a colonoscopy --- which wasn't fun, but wasn't painful either. Just a little uncomfortable.
I hope things turn out well for you.

It's not bad... It feels like some pressure and you feel like you have to take a crap... Other than that, it's not horrible...

 

thought i'd let you all know, i survicied it, it was not half as bad at i thought it would be! the worse part was the magnesium citrate i had to drink, it was nasty! it tasted like carbonated vinegar, i'd do he procedure again if i had to, but i would not drink that stuff again!!
