What do you do? When I'm around new people, I usually talk a lot. I guess a lot of the time, it just comes off as me being sociable, but it's really a nervous thing. Also, when someone is yelling at me, I can't help but smile. Gets me in a lot of trouble sometimes.
 im the same i remember when i was 11, i got in my first fight in school, and the principal was shoutin at me, and i couldnt stop laughin
I do not have those feelings much any more At some functions I sip a bit faster on the wine to relax I am usually at ease in most situations
I don't feel the human emotion of embarrassment because it means you feel stupid about something you've said or done. I never feel stupid about anything I've said or done because it means you regret doing it. When you regret doing something it means you wish you'd never done it. And if you wish you'd never done it, you should have been smart enough to never do it in the first place but you weren't so now you're embarrassed and feel stupid. Serves you right for doing or saying something so stupid.
If I talk in front of people I get reeeeally quite pink in the face... I can't help it, it just happens. Sometimes my hands shake and my vision gets a bit blurry too.. That's nervous, embarrassed is pretty much the same. Except even more pink... ---> I hate it.
For me it depends on the reason I am embarrassed or nervous....there are too many situations to describe how I would react in each.
I do that all the time People can be so sensitive at times. I usually approach most situations with a laid-back attitude, and I socialize easily with people around me. I dont get nervous in social situations very often. I will get nervous if I get into a serious verbal confrontation; I wont normally run away from a conflict once it's started, but my arm's will tremble, and I tend to touch the side of my nose a fair bit.
When I'm Embarassed I Tend To Just Stand There And Look Stupid. Which Makes it Virtually Impossible To Detect..... Cheers Glen.
I usually say something wildly inappropriate, stutter, or simply get real quiet. I'd rather have the OP's reaction. Maybe I'd be better liked by people.
